Project Profiles

Tri-Core was selected to provide heavy civil construction services to the Manitoba Hydro Riel convertor station construction. Access to the site required a high level of security clearance for Tri-Core. The project was completed within the confines of an energized high voltage environment and involved working in conjunction with multiple site contractors. Effectively coordinating and communicating with our client’s site contractors facilitated a safe work site while maintaining a high level of production enabling the work to be completed successfully on a time sensitive schedule.

The scope of work included:

• Installation of foundations;
• Excavation of cable trenches and;
• Supply and placement of backfill for conduit and grounding wire.
